ENTRY REQUIREMENTS, PASSPORTS AND VISAS
WE MUST HAVE VISAS FOR BOTH KENYA AND TANZANIA.

What are the entry requirements?
All visitors are required to carry a passport that is valid for six months beyond the intended length of stay. Nationals of certain countries do not require visas - this depends on the country you are visiting. It is advisable to check with the Consulate of the country that you intend visiting for the latest visa and entry requirements. The list below contains the current visa requirements applicable to most North American and European countries.

VISAS

Since many people prefer not to mail their passports to Embassy, Consultate or Tourism offices - even if by FedEx or Registed USMail, you can obtain both of these on arrival.

It's actually quit easy. Just download the Visa forms for both countries from their respective sites. Complete the forms and with your $50 (for each country), pay on arrival*. The desk for Visas (on arrival) are adjacent to the Immigration booths. Unless there is a long line, this shouldn't take more than a few minutes - then off you go to collect your bags.

* Photos are NOT required if obtaining in-country.

We need to buy visas for both Kenya and Tanzania. Each visa is $50.00, U.S. dollars. We must have the exact amount. They do not make change. Kenya and Tanzania have an agreement, which allows us to use the single entry visa for each of them and re-enter either of these countries on our single entry visa.

Go to this site and print the form. Fill it out and bring it with you. We pay $50 at the boarder crossing from Tanzania into Kenya. http://www.kenyaembassy.com/forms/visa_form.htm

You can also obtain your visa upon arrival at Tanzania. http://www.travisa.com/Tanzania/tanzaniavisaselector.htm You can fill out this form on line and print it. Bring it and a $50.0 bill. We will need it when we travel into Tanzania on Day 8.

To sum it all up, you will have to spend a total of US$ 100 for your trip to Kenya, Tanzania and back to Kenya.
